LIGHT HOROSCOPE:Taylor’s eyes opened as she shot up, her heart pounding heavily against her chest. She looked around, her body suddenly relaxing. “Just a dream…” she muttered, looking out at the moonless sky. Since she had returned from her journey and found out certain things, she had been having all kinds of nightmares about the secrets she knew. She sighed looking at the calendar. January… Nights were longer, days were shorter. Which wasn’t so bad, but what was bad was that February was fast approaching. Because of the knowledge she had gained, she had learned that when it becomes the month of a certain horoscope sign, they gain an immense amount of power. And now it was nearing Aquarius’s turn. Taylor cursed gently as she stood up in the soothing darkness. She moved silently as the slick, black night gown clung to her body, showing her recently appearing curves. Her blue eyes shone purple as she stood at the door, reaching for the handle softly. Something was pulling on her heartstrings. She closed her eyes, feeling a sense of security as she opened the door. She stepped down the hall, her feet padding against the brown carpet. She felt something rising as she looked in the mirror in the hall. Her body was changing again. She had once again gotten taller and her hair was rapidly growing. Her body was transforming on its own. She felt the power swelling within her as she wrapped her cool, pale hand around the handle of the front door , opening it as she stepped onto the cold pored concrete of their front path. She moved gracefully onto the lawn and stood on the edge, the half-moon reflecting in her eyes. Stars danced across the sky as she felt the icy breeze wrap around her body. She smiled to herself, her eyes closing. Things seemed peaceful for once. She suddenly felt a fiery essence wrap around her tightly, warming her soul. She opened her eyes slowly, turning her head around to see Skylar hugging her tightly. He had since grown until he looked about eighteen. His flaming red hair was styled into an emo-like hair cut, cutting across one of his now blood red eyes sharply. He smiled calmly.“Morning, mom” He said softly. Taylor looked back up at the sky, hugging his arms as Skylar rested his head on her shoulders. Since she had found Skylar in their previous adventures, he had grown a lot. This was apparently because of Taylor’s sudden depression but despite all of this Skylar still stayed by her side like a baby chick and called her mom. Taylor let out a gentle sigh as the warmth began reaching into her soul causing her to feel slightly more tired. Skylar helped her down onto the grass, still holding her in his arms.“So, did you have one of your nightmares again mom?” He asked. Taylor nodded calmly.“Yes. They’ve been happening a lot lately. I think something is coming, and that this is a sign” She explained. Skylar nodded.“You’re probably right. The dark horoscope has been quiet for too long and the annual meteor shower is happening within the next week. We should be hearing from them very soon” He warned. Taylor nodded.“Let them come. They can’t kill us, anyways.” She said, her mouth curving into a small smirk. Skylar smiled as he stared down at the sixteen year old girl.“And why’s that, mom?” He asked. Taylor’s body shifted as she laughed silently.“I have knowledge that only Zeus and Hera are supposed to know. About our true purpose. About what’s at the end of the road for us. How to get rid of our curse” She said. Skylar looked up into the starry night.“And what is at the end of the road for us?” He asked. Taylor’s smile faded as she shook her head. A small tear slipped down her cheek as she opened her mouth.
DARK HOROSCOPE:Evan’s brown eyes stared out into the black and silver sky, his dark brown eyes flickering a pale, whitish-blue as he felt the presence of a transformation. Fallon suddenly entered the room, his blue eyes shining a sharp green colour.“Aquarius! It‘s Cancer!” Fallon stated. Evan nodded.“I know Capricorn. We aren’t striking now though. She most likely has someone with her. It’s been like that since she’s returned.” He explained. Fallon shook his head.“But using this boy’s body, I should be able to lead her away, correct? She does have all the information we need” He stated. Evan sighed. That was right. Fallon’s body had been taken over by the dark ancient spirit, who was now using his body to benefit Zeus. Evan’s now straight black hair flowed with his head as he shook it.“We’ll wait for another time. We can’t survive an ambush from them at the moment we have to wait for the meteor shower” he explained. Fallon sighed, pushing his midnight black hair back. Evan stood up, extending his now 6 foot body as he began to pace back and forth. Fallon sat back, leaning in a chair flamboyantly. His eyes would flicker from the green to their original blue. The two boys suddenly turned as they heard a knocking at the door.“Come in” Evan stated. Cody entered silently, looking at the two.“Hey, did you guys feel it too?” Cody asked. Evan and Fallon both nodded in unison.“Yeah.” Fallon replied. Cody nodded.“It felt weaker this time, didn’t it? As if it wasn‘t much of a transformation” He said. Evan’s eyes widened as Fallon stood up in shock. He was right! Evan stared at the ground, not moving from his spot.“Well then, what does this mean?” Fallon asked. Evan closed his eyes slowly as he shook his head.“I don’t know.” He said. Cody looked out the window, hiding the fact that this had made him nervous. It wasn’t very often that Evan was left without a theory.
LIGHT HOROSCOPE:Katie woke up gently, looking at the time. She moaned softly, stretching.“Crap. No time to sleep in even a little…” She stated, getting up. Today was another day of school, and not only that, it was Friday. Katie sighed, slipping off her top then pulling a new brown baby doll shirt with loose bell sleeves on over top. She pulled on a pair of her pants, but much to her annoyance, she found them looser than normal. She stared at the space between her waist and the hem line of the pants in curiosity. She hadn’t done anything out of the ordinary for this to happen… What was going on? She grabbed her belt and wrapped it around her waist, holding her pants up. Great. She sighed, walking down the stairs gracefully as she grabbed her school bags and got ready to leave. This was going to be an interesting Friday.“Saul. Practice.” Taylor muttered. Saul looked up from his conversation, his brown eyes searching hers with curiosity. His lips curved into a guilty smile as Taylor grabbed his bag and pulled him down the hall. “Something’s never change” He muttered. Taylor turned to him.“What?” She asked. Saul shook his head.“Nothing. Never mind.” He said calmly. Taylor rolled her eyes as she continued down the hall, Saul following close behind. Taylore and Cassie sat behind the door of the backroom in the music room playing guitar and singing randomly. Karin, once again, was no where in sight. Taylor sighed as she sat down.“Saul was talking and procrastinating again” She said calmly. Taylore glared at Saul as she strummed her guitar playfully.“Saul! You don’t do that! Bad Saul. Bad!” She stated. Cassie laughed as Saul shrugged.“Well, what are we playing? Seafast is next month so we’d better practice some of our newer stuff.” He stated. Everyone nodded in agreement. They peeked out. No other band today. The band slinked out and positioned themselves, preparing to play, when suddenly Markus burst through the door.“Taya!” He cried, then paused, examining her, “Did you cut your hair?” He asked. Taylor shook her head, picking up a chunk of her hair.“If anything it got longer” She said quietly. Markus shook his head.“Wait, that’s not what I came here for. Sorry Taylore, but I need to see Saul, Cassie and Taylor for a minute.” He stated. Taylore and Taylor exchanged glances then looked back to Markus curiously.“Wait, what?” Taylore asked. Markus sighed.“Taya. The one who’s sign is Cancer.” He stated. Taylor stared at him, her eyes flashing their spirit blue. His eyes flickered red as if to clarify any thoughts. Taylor turned to the others.“Sorry, we’ve got to go Taylore. Its really important” She explained. Taylore nodded.“Gotchya. See ya later alligator!” Taylore called out. The four teens waved as they moved out of the room. As they dashed down the hall way, they were joined by Katie, Tyson and Mara. The light horoscope moved quickly down the hall, pausing for a moment as they passed by Evan and Cody. Katie stuck her tongue out at Cody, and Cody retorted by making a face at her. Taylor and Evan rolled their eyes. The group then commenced onward down the hall until they were safely outside. They all suddenly stopped, realizing the cold then turned around and went back inside until they were just inside the doors. Markus looked around.“So. Meteor shower was supposed to happen. Hasn’t happened yet. That leaves me to believe that it’s coming tonight or tomorrow night.” He stated. Katie sighed.“Does that mean the vacations over?” She asked. Cassie nodded.“ Afraid so, Katie” Cassie stated. Katie sighed again, looking at Tyson.“And we were just starting to enjoy it” She said sadly. Everyone stared at her curiously. Katie shook her head.“Not like that!” She said, smacking her forehead. Cassie shook her head.“Anyways. Markus, what was it that you wanted to say?” She asked. Markus nodded.“Well, I think that its time for another stay at the Horoscope mansion” Markus stated. “I think that’s an excellent idea” A voice stated calmly. Everyone turned to see a boy walking up to them. He stood at 6’4, his eyes were a dark murky brown and his hair was shaggy and black. On his head he wore a newspaper boy cap and on his body he wore a white polo t-shirt, a black hoody, silver tie and grey skinnys. His tanned skin seemed slightly paler in the cold weather. He smiled calmly, nodding at Taylor.“Um, who are you?” Tyson asked. Loki shook his head.“Oh, where are my manners! My name is Loki. I’m the god of mischief.” He stated. Katie held up a hand. Loki smirked and pointed at her dramatically.“Yes, the little girl wearing the brown top.” He stated.“Isn’t Loki in the Norse mythology?” She asked. Loki glared at her.“Silence. Everyone knows that there’s no such thing as that. Besides, I stole his name. its mine now.” He stated. Katie shook her head.“But shouldn’t your name be-” She started, but Loki quickly covered her mouth.“DON’T SPEAK!” he shouted, then moved away, “ I stole the name fair and square. I can see the name on Broadway now…” He said, posing flamboyantly. Cassie sighed.“Okay, Loki. So what are you doing here?” She asked. Loki smiled, handing her a rose.“I was sent by Hera to help you, milady” he stated. Cassie blushed slightly, accepting it.“isn’t anyone wondering where the rose came from?” Saul asked. Mara shook her head.“If you’re willing to believe all the stuff that’s been happening since the summer, then accept that a rose came out of nowhere” She stated. Saul nodded.“In other words, we’re in one fucked up story?” He asked. Mara nodded.“Yes, Taylor fucked us over big time. As if the first one wasn’t bad enough…” She said softly. Saul shook his head.“I’m probably going to end up alone again.” He stated. Mara sighed.“Me too… oh well” She said, “ at least its not real” She said. Katie glared at Mara, hugging Tyson.“HE’S REAL YOU BITCH! YOU’RE JUST JEALOUS!” She cried.
(Back in the real world)Taylor sighed looking at the clock.“Remind me not to write at 1:26 am ever again…” She muttered to no one in particular.
DARK HOROSCOPE:“They’re plotting something” Fallon stated, suddenly appearing. Evan rolled his eyes.“Yeah, they are. The fact that they’re having a group meeting didn’t give that away did it?” He asked dryly. Cody sighed.“Also, the fact that Loki appeared and is now enrolled in the school didn’t give away anything” He stated. Fallon rolled his eyes.“I have every right to be suspicious of them. They are the enemy.” He stated. Evan sighed.“Yeah, but they’re our friends before they’re our enemy…” He muttered to himself.“Excuse me?” Fallon asked. Evan shook his head.“It’s nothing. Don’t worry.” He stated. Fallon nodded, vanishing again. So tonight or tomorrow night was the night that his army would be replenished. Ever since Martin had suddenly lost his powers, they had been in desperate need for re-enforcements. If only the light horoscope knew what he was fighting for…
